Yes, this is a month later than I had planned and it is electronic.  The initial mailing is now over 150 and it just takes too long and the weather has been too good to stay indoors all the time.  Those of you that sign up will get the last three via snail mail.

 

Attached is the initial letter for the Class Golf Tour for 2012 and some other events.  Highlights are below:

 

• Mini-Tour, South Padre Island, February 24-27th.
• Double room at the Isla Grand Hotel/Resort on the Gulf, with golf for two for $180 plus taxes.
• Call (956) 761-6511 or 800-292-7704 -  “West Point Class of 70 Golf Group.” 
• Reserve your room no later than February 1^st to get the good rates.  
• Breakfast may only be included on the weekend.    http://www.islagrand.com/index.php  
• Yes, it is a good idea to get a roommate in the group if your better half is not coming
• All coordination for SPI is done by email and there is no deposit requirement - most is paid for and we settle dinners there or create a "bill"
• Main Tour Stop at Naples, May 15-19th at the Naples Grande Hotel & Resort and the Grey Oaks Country Club (3 courses)
• Call 888-722-1270 and ask for the West Point Class of 1970 Group Rate ($155 per night, plus $5 resort access fee).  (Group Rate is good for 3 days before and after golf).
• We are set up for golf from Tuesday to Saturday, per the schedule below, with dinner each evening  
• Please determine when you will play and how many will be dining and fill out the Reservation Form on the last page. 
• Return the Reservation Form (Page 3) to Jim Crawford with your  $150 deposit no later than February 17, 2012.
• We are considering a second "mini" the end of October on a larger scale to practice for Lynn and Rita's Main Tour Stop in 2016
• Note your interest with an "SPI Fall" write-in on your Reservation Form.

NOTE:  Frank will be sending this out to the entire class, so some of you will get two copies (at your leisure, Frank!).  Bear with us while we try to get all the email addresses to a current state.
